About Gordana Biernat
A life devoted to seeing what is true.
Author, thinker and Oprah SuperSoul 100 member. Based in Sweden.
The person and the work
Gordana has spent her life exploring what becomes possible when we see ourselves clearly.
An author and thinker based in Sweden, Gordana works at the meeting point of consciousness, responsibility, creativity and consequential choice.
She holds a Master of Arts degree in Art History and has also studied psychology, communication and media at Lund University. Her work moves between the visible structures of a human life, culture, identity, leadership, relationships and achievement, and the less visible assumptions through which that life is understood.
Gordana does not believe that people need to be filled with someone else’s answers. She believes that the quality of a life changes when a person learns to see the thoughts, fears and inherited narratives shaping it, and becomes more conscious of the choices made from them.

Her way of seeing
Thought is not commentary on life. It participates in creating it.
Gordana does not separate thought from experience. The stories people repeat inwardly become the lens through which they interpret memory, possibility, relationship and choice. To become conscious of thought is therefore not an abstract exercise. It is a way of becoming more responsible for what we allow into reality.
Her language moves comfortably between psychology, philosophy and spiritual inquiry, but always returns to lived experience: the next choice, the honest sentence, the body’s response, the quiet recognition that something is or is not true.
“Create time in your mind to think and space in your heart to be.”

The work today
Books, writing, speaking, projects and Conscious Conversations.
Gordana’s current work moves across several forms, from books and essays to public conversations, digital projects and private one-to-one dialogue.
Each form begins in the same place: a serious interest in consciousness, the nature of perception and the responsibility we carry for the lives we create.
